A leading Independent Planning and Environmental consultancy based in Gloucestershire currently have an opportunity for an experienced EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) project manager to join their team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of Renewable Energy projects, undertaking EIA coordination and project management, and providing expert advice and technical assessments.
Qualifications
Candidates for this role will hold an appropriate Environmental based degree, MSc advantageous. Membership of IEMA/ similar is anticipated and a full clean driving licence is required.
Experience
Applications are sought from candidates with experience in the Environmental and EIA field, the successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of undertaking project coordination of large scale EIA projects. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will hold experience of EIA for a range of projects within the renewable energy industry. Minimum 3 – 4 years experience required.
Duties Include
- Management and coordination of a variety of EIA projects
- Providing environmental and planning support for a range of Renewable energy developments
- Undertaking technical environmental impact assessments
- Environmental reports
- Project management and coordination
- Providing specialist environmental technical advice
